Wanna hear the really long and boring reason Chaos is sans clothing in this pic besides the fact that drawing naked people is fun?

To answer the question posed to me earlier ...

"Why is he nude?"

Same reason he's looking at butterflies.

It symbolizes innocence. Away from the influences of the Grimm Bros Circus. Putting across the point that everyone, no matter how evil and dark they may seem, still has some tiny bit of goodness inside of them. The duality of soul. The hope that we can be better than what we are and/or how we are perceived by others. (All rather moot since I went and explained it. LOL) - Perty picture.

I find it interesting to consider that all men were once this innocent. Capable of becoming great or insignificant, good or evil. That the lives we live, and how we choose to deal with the obstacles set before us, form us into the people we become. There was a time when Chaos was as innocent as anyone but something happened to change all of that. Still, there is that possibility of goodness and kindness somewhere deep inside of him. -- I often think a great deal about what I am (trying to) represent when I draw. On one level it's a naked, crazy clown sitting in the grass because he's nuts. On another level it represents lost possibilities. Most will see one, a few will see the other. -- Amidst all the Chaos can still be found peace. --

Much more fun to just say "Wiener!" and be done with it. LOL
